Lough Derg Marina
Location: Killaloe, Ireland
Lough Derg Marina in Killaloe, Co Clare, Ireland has more than 500m of water frontage and panoramic views over the lake and adjoining countryside. Killaloe has become an extremely popular residential location in the region due to its beauty. Additional berths at Lough Derg Marina were contracted to help meet demand.
Coors Floating Solar Pilot Project
Location: Golden, CO
Hazelett Marine installed a floating solar pilot project at the Coors facility in Golden, CO. This pilot array will be in for a calendar year to gauge the array’s ability to handle the high winds, waves, and snow loads.
Bow & Arrow R&D – FPV Mooring design
Location: Japan
Hazelett, in collaboration with Ciel et Terre, pioneered “Bow and Arrow” mooring systems. The Bow and Arrow anchoring system allows to manage the array movement area and to afford a slight load increase in the mooring lines. In addition to the cost improvement, the system provides technical advantages such as balancing the load more efficiently.

Lake Holiday Country Club
Location: Lake Holiday, Virginia
Lake Holiday Country Club has three docks that moor approximately 90 boats. These three docks are all positioned parallel with the shore. A severe storm damaged two of the docks making them unusable for the boating season. Hazelett Marine provided moorings, installation, design, and anchors.
West Island Marina
Location: Fairhaven, MA
Hazelett installed forty foot docks using DockMaster systems to handle the large waves, current & winds. Hazelett provided helical anchor installation, project management, and design.
Wild Mile
Location: Chicago, IL
The Wild Mile is an Urban Rivers project, and is the World’s First-Ever Floating Eco-Park, located along the North Branch Canal of the Chicago River. Hazelett Marine provided project management and engineering, and deployed Hazelett DockMaster conservation elastic mooring systems to handle the water level variation and conditions. The Wild Mile has stayed put through dramatic flooding, even when the river has risen above the seawalls.
Boat Folk
Location: Studland Bay, UK
Boat Folk works with Hazelett for an eco-friendly mooring solution to dissuade anchor use while preserving boater access to the bay. Hazelett has provided many shallow water conservations moorings for the bay and continues to partner with Boat Folk. The bay’s mild tidal variation and protection from predominant winds make it both an ideal destination for boaters and a unique and treasured Seagrass habitat for SeaHorses.
Sleepy Hollow Marina
Location: Sleepy Hollow, NY
Sleepy Hollow Marina provides over 120 berths for community members. Hazelett elastics with limit lines and helical anchors were used to hold the position of the docks much tighter while increasing the stability and performance of the docks. This solution also enables the docks to be left in all winter.
Majestic Marine
Location: Dubai, UAE
Majestic Marine Engineering LLC has designed, manufactured and installed floating berths in 20 fishing ports around the UAE. Hazelett elastics were used to stabilize the pontoons in the ports. The total number of berths installed in these ports exceeds 3,250.
